This customer had 2 single sized up and over doors removed and a full width double sectional door installed instead. This increased the drive through width from 2 x seven foot wide openings to an impressive sixteen foot wide opening.
Garage Doors Worcestershire arranged for the building regulations inspector to attend site and for a local builder to replace the existing lintels with a full width lintel. The builder also made good the floor. The builder used the bricks from the removed central pillar and finished the front of the lintel with the old bricks. This resulted in a perfect colour match between the existing and new brickwork.
This door is in Anthracite Grey and the customer wanted to pick out some Golden Oak coloured details on the rest of the house so opted for the Golden Oak partial inserts on the door.
The door is powered using a Hormann Supramatic motor unit.
